NCBL 2011 Team Rumors.

How ya'll been Flava' Freaks? Yea I noe, its been a year since my last post. Crazy ain't it? But hey, waddaya' noe, NCBL 2011 is gonna start this May, so I thought I might put in some spices in it. A lil' of trade - team rumors thing. Juz to be clear, my intel ain't as high as RPK's & AfiqPG's, so things are based on wat I heard ONLY.

COCORO

Yerp, remember da gud old days tat back to 3-4 years ago where Cocoro was among da dominant top 4 position of da first division? Well, I can say that they might be back again this year. See, da thing is, carriers like Ajim caru and Botak wit hair is back to the team. As they say, tat they were one of the old guys in Cocoro, heck if I remember myself. Big guys like Aza, speedy legs like Buk & fellow contributors like Faiz might carry da team back to da top this year. Just might.

Point on eyes where NCBL's Preseason match, where they beat Phantoms who only came with 8 men 60 - 32 last I saw. But it's still early in da season, so who noes rite?

PHANTOMS

Division 1 Champions of 2010. Rumors? Indeed. Big time situational as wat I heard, Big Time Budin is coming back home. Plus, Mr. RPK himself is back onda team after proving them wrong tat he can play very well. Wit big stats from 2010 season where he played for Swoosh 2 of course. But hey, he didn't play badly during da preseason match with Cocoro.

Most lineups will be da same, they still hangs on to "twin"-old-timers who can "fly & shoot", Zun & Im. Guards like Mae Punca and Adam Roach is still wit them after ears saying tat Mae might be going back to Conns. Big losses? I dunno, I heard tat their 2 big guys, Sassi da Don and Edika Dragons, yea, u noe it are not wit them this season. Heard tat Sassi wishes to play wit Pegasus, whereas Edika has bigger commitment to go with. P.S ladies - Ustaz Amirul is playing again, cud it be?

SWOOSH

Supermen is yet looking strong, but problems wit keeping their players intact for this season. Reason? Simple, heard tat they're not sending Swoosh 2 who was da runner up last season for this season's division 1. Sad ain't it? So far, Swoosh's Golden Gun, Yasier is still playing wit Phoenix. Well, he did play for da preseason match. Big impact? I guez so, they loss to Phantoms last season, proves them much.

Mr. RPK has gone back to Phantoms, Old Man Farid is silent for sure. Currently, heard tat he is listed as a free agent. Who noes. Da rest like Edmund, Aaron and Panje is untraceable. There is a lil' source saying tat Panje wants to quit Swoosh, another traveling time for him huh?

BENCHWARMERS

Not much of a rumor heard from this surprising team actually. 2009, they only won 1 match and loosing da rest. 2010, they made it to da 2nd round. Crazy ain't it? Dedicated and hard effort I guez. Anyways, da only thing I heard from this team is tat, their Prime Shooter Shahril is not going to be wit them this season. & probably forever as he has gone back to Sarawak. But their lineups mights change, who knew rite? Wit Manager Man Mizi Triple M is heard tat he quits and is going to rivals Slashers, who noes wat's going on between them.

UBSA

Botak is out, joining back wit classic teammates from Cocoro, tat's true. Epyn? Well, sumwhere around December last year & this year's month of February, heard tat he was looking for a team. He even once requested to join "a" team can't reveal which one but talks were turned down as both sides went silent. Da rest of lineups, not much of a changes done. Plus plus, Panda Man is playing for Pegasus?

NIRWANA SHOCKS

I love when it comes to team problems, haha. Heard tat tis team has problems internally. From players, and management of cuz. At da end of last year, I encounter wit one of them and they mentioned tat da Shocks might not join tis season's NCBL. Wat a waste of talent rite? Well, they were one of da favourites in da 2nd round of last season's NCBL. Hope tat they might be joining again tis season.

PEGASUS

Ajim is out, but who's in? Well, heard tat UBSA's Panda is joining them for tis season. And will Sassi truly join Pegasus? Could be. As I heard tat da team is rebuilding again and heard tat Big Jon Stud was waived by team captain and agreed by da team owner themselves. Plus, no news from Katik himself, he cud be traveling to another team againtis season.

SNIPERS

Most of da team around have heard this, "Snipers is rebuilding and upgrading". I ain't sure of it myself. Wat I heard is tat, they waived big guy D-Nie and few players were not able for tis season such as Nazim Spoiler and Kamal but bringing in additional players like Hafiz and Ikram from Flames, Ted from Titans and Anip from Quakes to be replaced. Lucky for them, old timer Zharip didn't go back to Cocoro huh? Whether da lineup is true or not, I haven't seen them, but heard only. P.S - Flava' told ya'll already, i'm a shadow, I dun play but I do watch NCBL.

TITANS

Da other day, a rumor saying tat their big guy, Lanky Ayie is leaving Titans for another team. Tat was fully declined by da player himself. But another weird rumor is tat, some say Panje is playing for da Titans. Wat da heck?

2BLAST

Da only newcomer for tis season's NCBL? Hope not. I hope tat there will be more than juz them. Remember Mr. Samurai from Snipers? Yerp, he's being waived and now he's carrying a team on his own. A bunch of streetballerz from section 12 Shah Alam wit no basics and tactics. Only full of lucky shots and aggressiveness, & I mean really aggressive. I've seen them played once during da frenly match between them and da Sniperians, & da Sniperians goes home wit bruisers. Damn kids.

PHOENIX

So far, nothing changes much for da Flaming Birds wit Yasier is still around. Jeans Boy Fendi is hanging wit them so as Mr. KL Ghazi. All I heard was tat Mahatma Gun-D will not be able for tis season's competition. Why? I dunno, some say he' gone home to Johor.

FLAMES

Pity, another team-victim of most probably not going to join tis season's tournament due to their players. Which, few have been busy working and few are married.

Well, so far, tat's da only news flying around Flava's ears. Not all team are close enough for me to be eaves dropping so bare wit it ayte. But when stories fly, i'll be damn sure to be spreading it out for ya'll. Til' then, Word Up, & stay awesome people!!

NCBL - Finals Review.

Pictures are worth thousand words.But in tat picture,it was worth more than juz words,it's indescribable.Word Up folks?NCBL 2010 season is over.And the results are up.Now we noe who got da gold,who got da promotion to 1st Division,who got relegated,and most of all,who got da 1 year Bragging Rights.

DIVISION 2 3rd PLACING (HURRICANES VS PHANTOMS (B))

Sorry ya'll,got no intel on tis one.I came late for da game.So all I noe is tat Hurricanes won by 5 points against da veteran team of Phantoms (B).It looks like there wun't be any "Clash of da Brotherhood" match up next season in da 1st Division.I mean,who wouldn't want to watch da Phantoms (A) vs Phantoms (B) match,rite?Anyways,horay Hurricanes.*wit da lame and not exciting tone*

DIVISION 1 3rd PLACING (J3 (A) VS PHOENIX)

Results tell ya' da truth.Surprisingly,it was da much underdog team of J3 (A) tat won da bronze,including da 3rd place of cuz,against da Flaming Birds who got such huge line-ups like Yasier,Gun-D and Fendy.But,it was more like a 7 on 7 game as both team had their roster,well,not filled up.

I can only conclude da match as sometime in tat match,I was doing sumthing else.But da match was pretty exciting better than da Hurricanes vs Phantoms (B) match I hope as both teams were chasing each other.And,not forgetting to mention tat both teams,promoted from da 2nd Division last season,and proved to da rest of da teams in NCBL tat they mean business.

I was only able to see da final moment where J3 (A) got da final free throw at da final seconds,and with a 61-60 lead,Phoenix made a horrible turnover and there goes da clock.Bronze,goes to J3 (A) indeed.

DIVISION 2 FINALS (SNIPERS VS SWOOSH 2)

Lock n' load,pick a target,aim,& SNIPE!!! Even da flying Second Supermen couldn't runaway or flyaway from da perfect aiming by da Sniperians.They beat Swoosh 2 by 65-50,but it wasn't easy tat's for sure.

As was predicted,Swoosh 2 give da Shoot-To-Kill team one heck of a fight.Even though differ by age,but they're always young at heart.With da gigantic sizes tat Swoosh 2 has,Snipers created their usual "Run Til' They Drop" play to outlasted Swoosh 2's stamina to zero.

During da 1st quarter as usual,Snipers will do watever it takes to take da lead.Firing all their 3 ammos at once.But Swoosh 2 didn't ease down as well.They manage to pull back loads of points during da 2nd quarter,bit by bit tanx to again,Mislan's penetration though some of it was an incomplete cut ins and Aaron's "Ain't gonna give up" shots.At one point,Swoosh 2 took da lead by 5 points.But again,Snipers is a shooting team,and they took da lead back with a back to back 3s tanx to their team captain KoBron.

Coming in da 2nd half,Swoosh 2 manage to generate wat's left in their tank,especially Old Man Farid who looks half-dead due to his lil' hustle plays in da 1st half.Although Swoosh 2 tried to use their King Kong Bundy for those who dun watch WWE,King Kong Bundy is a huge guy with incredible strength Amarjit,but tanx to a "No Way Ho-Ze" tight D by Cheesy Bear and Zic Efron which they subsequently D up during da match,Amarjit looks immovable at all.

Overall performance by both teams were extra huge.Aaron's offensively shots,Mislan's unstoppable defense and heck,Mr.Downtown still got wat it takes to give da youngsters an In Your Faces,haha.

Snipers' Mr.Muscle shot badly on da free throw line with only 1/8 shots made,but bring da stats back up by adding loads of "Come Foul Me" lay-ups.Nazim a.k.a The Other Guard as named by Old Playa',but we recognized him as Bo now took control of da tempo prefectly,even nearly made da Mitsui-type shot.Confuse?Watch Slamdunk on da last episode then.

By all means,both team were great,but only one deserves to sit on da 2nd Division's throne,and tat would be da Sniperians after all.

DIVISION 1 FINALS (PHANTOMS (A) VS SWOOSH 1)

Sumday,The Great Wall of China will fall down too u noe.Nuthin's gonna stay da way it is.Noe why?Cuz Swoosh's unbeaten streak and their legacy finally falls down to da unexpected win by Phantoms (A).Weird isn't it?I mean,they always got beaten during da regular season,in other tournaments and usually in da semis too,but da Finals?Who would have guess?

Anyways,da game was tight indeed.Points by points were poured down by each side.Phantoms (A) new line-ups surely bring them da gold for da first time,rite?Maybe.Anyways,it was a no one man show this time.It's a battle of both sides,as were seen tat Amirul got stuck to Ramesh,Zun da Angle goes wild shooting,Hilmi da Tiny Hulk played well on his position,juz a lil' unlucky I guez.

Wat was really seen tat of Amin Dragon,Adam da Roach,Sassi da Don and Sunel's incredible play tat put da deserving champs rite where they belong.Swoosh look a lil' lost sumwhere in da 3rd quarter as it was so obvious tat their Forward,Cicak if i'm not mistaken couldn't manage to slot in an easy under basket shots.They even lose in terms of defensive and offensive boards.I mean,look at them.They're huge,humongous,rock solid figures compared to Phantoms who were tiny,no shape and much smaller opponents da Don is an exception though.

Overall,after seeing da game,it came up to my mind tat maybe for once,Phantoms do deserve to be champions this season after all da hard fought battle since da beginning.Anyways,congratz to all da Phenoms for being da Division 1 Champs.

SNIPERS 2010 2nd Division CHAMPIONS

NCBL - The Finals.

Indeed it is,da final week of this season's National Community Basketball League,or known as NCBL.Word Up Flavours?We're here,in da Finals,and da 3rd placing too for both divisions.And if ya'll didn't read da post regarding who won and who loss during da semis,well here's da Finals for ya'.

DIVISION 2's 3rd PLACING (HURRICANES VS PHANTOMS (B))

I'm being honest here,I hate Hurricanes.But neither way,I dun quite like Phantoms as well.Not da players though,it's just da team itself.So either way,I dun give a heck of ideas on who wins or lose in this match.But clearly I hate Hurricanes more cuz of their ego on da weaker team.I'd rather see Bullets in da 3rd placing match up wit Phantoms (B) rather than seeing these "arroganic" Hurricanas playing.

DIVISION 1's 3rd PLACING (J3 (A) VS PHOENIX)

I'm not sure myself whether they have met each other before or not in da past during their time in da 2nd Division but one thing I noe is tat Phoenix is a much better team.They have all da players they need,they can shoot,they have a much "gedang" players too.But dun forget tat J3 (A) is a shooting team.Which means,they are more dangerous if they can complete their transition game.My vote,Phoenix would be in 3rd place.

DIVISION 2's FINALS (SNIPERS VS SWOOSH 2)

Another slight margin win prediction?I dunno,tat was sumone else's game preview,not mine.Mine will be a more straight forward base preview for sure.But I noe tat both Snipers and Swoosh 2 will give all out for da Finals.

Let us see now,Snipers,with 10 men remaining through out da season,every player has their role,and they have proper and well prepared training session tat put them in da Finals' spot.Lock n' Load as they say.Whereas Swoosh 2 has their King Kong Bundy,Aaron,Old Man Farid,Mr.Downtown,Edmund and Mislan to put themselves on da throne.

Whoever wins this Finals will clearly send a message to da 1st Division teams,tat they are ready for da next level.

DIVISION 1's FINALS (PHANTOMS (A) VS SWOOSH 1)

It's da first time for da Phantoms I guez and well,not really a first time for da Mighty Supermen.We've seen it before,and most encounter made by these two veteran teams will create da same outcome,which is,a victory to Swoosh 1.Correct me if i'm wrong,but it's hard to see Phantoms to grab da win away this time due to Swoosh's enormous line-ups.My vote,Swoosh 1 wit a huge margin.

NC fans,we're at da final week,and da Finals of da Finals too.After tis,there wun't be any other games as exciting as da NCBL for sure.Which is,ya'll gotta wait for months til' KLNC starts banging on da doors to come up wit a new excitement.In da mean time,dun forget to come and watch all da final matches ayte.Til' then,Stay AWE~SO~ME!!!

NCBL Semi-Finals Review.

War was unleashed as da semi-final games for both division started last week.Word Up fans?We're getting closer to da final week,and as da semis were up to it and done for it,here's wat I got for ya'.

DIVISION 2 (HURRICANES VS SWOOSH 2)

It was indeed a very tight game as Swoosh 2 manage to pull out da win against da was undefeated and bragging boys Hurricanes by 62-60.Let's recap shall we?Both were in da same group during da grouping stage which is group C,but ended up Hurricanes beat da crap out of Swoosh 2 by some say,quite a large margin it is.

And as da saying goes,revenge is sweet,indeed.Swoosh 2 prepared themselves better than ever to face da young boys in da semis.And it pays off.But as like da previous meeting,da 1st half did belong to Hurricanes as they control most of da game.

Mostly noticeable when Hurricanes manage to score their points by grabbing da boards,and converting their 2nd chance points.But Swoosh 2 didn't back down without a fight as Mislan penetrates and did his job quite ok with a simple,basic and completed passes to their perimeter shooters.

It would have been a point chasing game earlier if only that Aaron and Edmund both hit their jumpers perfectly,but both were turned off tat day.A lil' disappointment to da rest of da NC Ballers as they watched da game eagerly and hoping tat Hurricanes will loose.As da 3rd begin,it started to pay off as Swoosh 2 slowly chasing their points tanx to da weak-and-sux defense made by Hurricanes.Mislan dribbles all over them as if like he was playing wit a 6 year olds bunch of rookies.

As da final quarter started,Swoosh 2 fires up their leftover tanks to power through Hurricanes.As were mention,Hurricanes really,and I meant really sucking at defense.So it made Mislan's duty even easier,and finally Edmund manages to pull up some shots,with da big and I MEAN BIG help from Swoosh 2's very own Amarjit a.k.a King Kong Bundy,and wit few fouls,they tied up at 60 a piece.

Da most memorable part is where Old Man Farid made a tremendous Off Da Board Block during da 3rd,or was it da final quarter.Anyways,it was huge that made da crowd go "oohs" and "aahs",pretty loud.Tat was da main course,and da dessert?Nuthin' sweeter than Mislan's final jumper to make it 62-60 and gave away da W to da much experience team of Swoosh 2.

DIVISION 2 (SNIPERS VS PHANTOMS (B))

Some said tat Snipers might win a slight margin.I dunno if da term slight margin means by more than 20 points or so.Yerp,Snipers made their very own team history,bringing themselves up to da automatic spot for a taste of 1st Division next season by beating Phantoms (B) wit more than 20 points,sumwhere around 74-50 or so.

Snipers took control of all quarters since da beginning,but at a certain moment,they look a lil' loss when they nearly gave away their large lead by not making any shots but loads of turnovers indeed.But no matter,as they had prepare themselves way more than any other teams for da playoffs round.

Phantoms (B)'s tactics of playing a mano-e'-mano defense was terrible as they were outmatched by da stronger and better in sizes and not to mention,younger team.But tat wasn't suppose to be an excuse rite?I mean,it's basketball after all.

It's easy to point out for concluding da game.Snipers were better,energetic,younger,they hit more threes than da veteran team,they got better number in rebounds and most noticeable was tat Mr.Muscle's block shots were nearly equal as Tight's who they call them a "swimmer" for certain issue average block per game.As if.Anyways,Snipers are going to da Finals at last.

DIVISION 2 (PHOENIX VS PHANTOMS (A))

It was suppose to be like a Finals showdown between Phoenix and Swoosh 1,but dreams can be shattered in a flick of a finger.Yes,Phoenix were beaten by Phantoms (A) in da semi-finals,not much,around 8 points,but still,a loss is always a loss.

Phantoms (A) were pushed for da win tanx to several threes like 5-6 threes made by Adam "Roach" and weird shots converted by one of da Phantoms' twins,"Angle" Zun.No matter wat Phoenix did to prevent them,still,as soon as da ball has been release by these two crazy shooters,da ball will pass through da hoop's net for sure.

Swoosh's-loan-to-Phoenix player,Yasier doesn't look alive during da semis.He made several inside-da-arc jumpers but failed to make it.Even Gun-D got 3 airballs on his stats.Somehow,da margin wasn't a huge one tanx to Phoenix's main point guard,Fendi for da shots he made count.

He made several cut ins,a few threes,free throws and fastbreak plays,but pity for his effort,it wasn't enough to lead da team to da Finals after all.But it was a clear message tat Phoenix isn't a team to look down to,and not only Yasier is their man,Fendi can be da real deal if da team needs a player up for da task.

DIVISION 2 (J3 (A) VS SWOOSH 1)

Most of NC Ballers were hoping tat a team could break da undefeated NCBL reign of Swoosh 1.And it all lies down to J3's hand to make it happen.But as were expected to be,they too falls as a victim to Swoosh 1's win-loss list of teams included.

I can say tat da match was pretty exciting during da 1st quarter til' da 3rd quarter as they were playing cat and mice chasing games.At a moment,J3 took da lead by 2 points,but as da 1st quarter ended,Swoosh looks prepare and ready to boost up da momentum of da game.And as da 2nd begin,Swoosh took da game to da next level by taking over da lead.

But da lead wasn't tat far as J3,a team known well for their perimeter jumpers did made lots of three point shots to ensure da margin isn't tat far to chase.As Swoosh pull up da lead to 6 or 8 points,J3 will chase back and make it into a 4 point game,not more than tat until da 3rd quarter ends.

But as da 4th begin,well,ya'll know and can conclude it yourselves.Swoosh make it look easy by demolishing J3 til' their faces said so.But kudos to da Bangi Boyz as they put up a gud fight and never quits even though their opponent were a much bigger team than they are.

So NC fans,ya'll can make up da list already on who will be facing who on da final week rite?So,let's waste no time and let's see who's in da Finals ayte.Til' then,Stay AWE~SO~ME!!!

NCBL's Semi-Finals Preview.

Ladies & gents,Flava's back!! Word Up folks?Now,we're getting closer towards da end of this season's NCBL.And da final four for each division remains,Division 1 (J3 (A),Phantoms (A),Swoosh 1 and Phoenix) and Division 2 (Swoosh 2,Hurricanes,Phantoms (B) and Snipers).So,let's get it on!!

DIVISION 2 (PHANTOMS (B) VS SNIPERS)

As ya'll noe it,only da top 3 will advance to next season's 1st division.So,it's da battle of da fittest.Another veteran vs youngster match up.Like last week,everyone expects tat Snipers will bow to WeMotor.com's feet,but da thing is,da bullet made it's U-turn.

So some people thought da Shoot-To-Kill team won by a fluke.Yerp,this week,everyone expects tat Phantoms (B) is going to win.Again,totally being an underdog da Sniperians are,it's gonna be a heck of a match for sure.Cuz for sure,both teams have an almost exact playbook up in their sleeves.

DIVISION 2 (SWOOSH 2 VS HURRICANES)

Another veteranians against up and going youngsters.One thing is for sure,can Hurricanes ever stop da powering Swoosh 2?Everyone noes tat rite now,both Aaron and Mislan made a gud guard-to-shooter combination.While Old Man Farid is still at his best at wat he does,penetrating da hoop.

Whereas for da Hurricanas,as wat I saw from last week's match against Quakes,btw,sori for da wrong statement upon da final score,Quakes only lost by 7 points they're sure need more than juz jumping around,doin' fancy moves and circus shots.Against Quakes,they had da advantage of chemistry among them.But against da more expert team like Swoosh 2,well,I hope they will be blown away for gud,go Swoosh 2!!!

DIVISION 1 (PHANTOMS (A) VS PHOENIX)

Da ultimate question for any Phantoms' fans out there,"with or without Edika?"Well,technically,Phantoms (A) look more superbly on offense tanx to their main man,Izran Edika who is now on da KL Dragons' roster,with a lil' help from this season's addition youngsters like Adam Roach,Ma'e and Man Rebound.But as heard,Edika is a lil' busy with da KL Dragons' trainings and such.

And now tat they are facing da Flaming Birds,da top gun Phoenix,I wonder if Phantoms (A) can catch up wit them?A more properly conducted team,well organized and well,not too bad in offense mode,Phoenix is much a tougher team in da 1st Division believe me,they beat Pegasus and J3 (A),and Phantoms (A) too if i'm not mistaken comes next after Swoosh 1 of course.

Anyways,Phoenix has Yasier da Caru King not so caru anymore to settle da jumpers when they need it.So,how Phantoms (A) is gonna to retaliate,u gotta observe urself.

DIVISION 1 (J3 (A) VS SWOOSH 1)

Clearly,da mighty Swoosh 1 is da favourite.But for real,this is NCBL,Where Drama Happens.Take da match between Swoosh 2 against UBSA,where da Shah Alam Ballerz loss tat match by 5 points as an example.It's an unexpected moment for all who voted UBSA as da top contender for da 2nd Division Title.

In their previous meeting,da Supermen did outlast da Bangi Boys for gud.But another repeat in this semi-final could prove tat anything,can happen,for sure.

So folks,we're here,at da end of da previews.Not much though,but it's gonna be excited as most of us NC fans were waiting for this Final Four week to come.Honestly my vote,it looks like its gonna be another Phoenix-Swoosh 1 final showdown for da Division 1 Title.Til' then,stay AWESOME!!!

NCBL 2nd Division's Quarter-Final Review.

Word Up Flavours?Before I start making my opinions matter,let's recap a lil' shall we?First,all teams from group B were dominating da 2nd round,Quakes and Arions respectively won their game by beating Nirwana Shocks and Titans.Secondly,UBSA was da favourite and no.1 pick to win da 2nd Divsion title this season.And thirdly,some were expecting that group B representatives are goin' to advance to da semis.

Well,for what's it worth,it could be a fairytale ending for all da group B representatives.But games are not won by writing down notes.It is a lot easier said than done.So,wat's da catch?Let's hit it.

THE BIGGEST UPSET (UBSA VS SWOOSH 2)

Well,as most of ya'll had known,UBSA lost.Not a big margin though,it was a 56-51 game loss for da Shah Alam Ballerz in their match against Swoosh 2.Da game was mostly dominated by Swoosh 2.From da start,til' da very end of da buzzer,UBSA look a lil' loss.

UBSA has a slight disadvantage as their monster,Ayie,was out wit another injury.Technically,da same injury tat he had last year,which is da knee.So,UBSA battle hard enough under da hoop by using Mr.X to da fullest.Unfortunately for them,Swoosh 2 is a team full of veterans,technically speaking ayte.

Swoosh's defence was well coordinated tat they made it look like UBSA couldn't even get da easy 2 point jump shots.Whereas for Swoosh 2's offence,it was so much easier for them.As both Aaron and Mislan showed UBSA how's it done.Aaron stunningly made almost 5-6 3 pointers,a few jumpers within da arc and very well made free throws.As guessed,he would be da Player Of The Game for sure.

UBSA somehow battled with all their might,playing their half-court defence,but it wasn't enough to stop Mislan from penetrating towards da hoop.Or even dished out for their bigs like Amarjit,or Old Man Farid.

Well,da game goes on juz like how it was described in da above lines,and from a 13 points lead tat Swoosh 2 had,UBSA manage to cut down to 5 points,but ended up loosing.A heart breaker,a slap in da face and it was all not enough even though UBSA had all players tat is suitable for da team itself.

So,1 down for group B representatives,3 more to go.With Swoosh 2,a group C representative,advanced to da semis.

THE SECOND CRUMBLE (QUAKES VS HURRICANES)

Da Great Walls of Group B's dominance falls apart more and more as another group B's representative falls down to both knees as Quakes were beaten badly by da Hurricanes.I dunno,da margin was like,a near 30 points I guess.

To see it physically,Hurricanes was all bones and flesh,I mean,literally.Even their big guys were all skin and bones.Compared to Quakes,they had more flesh,bulk and built shapes.But it was all about chemistry and making shots.Da game wasn't about speed and strength.

Hurricanes' lightweight made them cruised past Quakes easy as they grabbed more rebounds and made more second chance points.Their defence wasn't tat gud as Quakes manage to play da cat-and-mouse-chasing game in a moment.

At a point,where they were neck-to-neck,chasing a single point every time.But Hurricanes showed them tat they were better.Even Quakes' Munex da Mean Machine couldn't do anything about it.Couldn't quite see da final score,but I noe it was bad though.

"No matter how da wind howls,da mountain would not bow to it."Well,clearly Hurricanes made tat statement wrong for gud.Another group B elite falls,2 down,2 more to go.

AND THE COOKIE KEEPS ON CRUMBLING (ARIONS VS PHANTOMS (B))

Da young against da old more experience match.To be honest,da game was only excited to be observe during da first quarter as Arions and Phantoms (B) fought hard against each other as da first quarter ended up at 8 points each or was it da Quakes vs Hurricanes match?.

But coming up da second quarter,and until da fourth,it was all dull,and all expected as Phantoms (B) pummeling through Arions to book their spot in da semis.Even with da 3 Rainers,T-He and Raimi in da team,they could not stop da veteranians for gud.

And tat's how da cookie crumbles,3 down,and juz 1 more left as a group B representative anxiously waiting for da next match to commence.

SNIPING DOWN THE ENGINES (SNIPERS VS WEMOTOR.COM)

Load up your ammos,pick your target right,aim,& SNIPE!!! Finally,out of da 4 representatives in group B,1 manage to pull out a win.And it wasn't an easy win too.

Facing their hard task this week,Snipers are up against WeMotor.com,where MRN,da Tsunami,Fuad Prince and Syed Bontot as what others recall him,i'm juz rephrasing is their top players.As for da Sniperians,they are sticking wit their remaining 10 players,wit some injured,but still effective.

Lemme juz conclude da whole game ayte,da game was a close game.WeMotor.com was chasing points as da Shoot-To-Kill team took da lead by ending da first quarter 13-11.Gaining da momentum,Snipers took da whole game by leading every quarter and ended up winning by almost 13 points.Something impossible?Not really.

Snipers were prepared a month before da game.Even in da puasa month,they took their training session at nite hours,and eventually brushing up everything they could.And it was all proven worthy.Their defence was superb as WeMotor.com couldn't finish their shots,and Snipers' offence was better than before.Well coordinated,and with more playbooks too.

There's only one major problem.Snipers let their opponents get an easy second chance points as they couldn't grab more rebounds than WeMotor.com.But still,as a team named by an elite group of rifle men,they manage to pour down more threes than usual which is an exciting moment to watch.

Anyways,da final match of da day ended up Snipers,da only team in group B,advanced to da semis.Making their own team history,after years of participating in NC games,and finally,heading towards da 2nd Division's Finals.

So NC fans,da quarters are all settle and done.Now both divisions,one and two are in da semi-finals mode.So,we're gonna have more excitement than before,so get yerself something to chew and drink,as da semis will start this coming weekend.Til' then,stay AWE~SO~ME!!!

NCBL 2nd Division's Quarter Final Preview.

Word Up peepz? Flava's back for the preview of this week's NCBL,2nd Div Quarter finals.For a month,all players were at rest,feeding themselves wit Raya food,& as guessed,fattening up all da flab on da tummylesser trainings.So,wit 4 matches available this week,let us get on to it.

UBSA VS SWOOSH 2

UBSA,line-ups are full wit Goliaths.Grizzly Bear,Alip,Mr.X,PowGasol,Sha-Monstar,Circusalso known as Badut and Kei.Not to mention their rebuilt-guards consist of Epyn,Panda,Muaz and Botak.Wit additional players and their mastermind unpredictable man,AfiqPG,no wonder they are da contender to climb back to da 1st division.

Standing in their way is 1 half of da Swoosh family,Swoosh 2.Wit Mislan and Edmund to be their ball handler,blind passes will surely be made perfectly if their top duo Giant Armajit and Farid Old Man maintain da way how they played during da beatdown of da Benchwarmers.Besides,they still have Mr.Downtown,if he is still playing with them.

Da match should be interesting as pace & speed is more towards da Shah Alam Ballerz indeed,as they are much a younger team than da more experience Supermen.My vote,will be on UBSA.

QUAKES VS HURRICANES

Quakes battered down da rookie team,Nirwana Shocks during their 2nd round match about a month ago.Though da Shocks gain height advantage,but it was truly experience says it all.Fierce play by Munex lead da team to da quarter finals indeed and set up a meeting wit da well-said unbeatable Hurricanes.

Hurricanes was unbeaten during da group stage.Beating da favourite team in Group C,WeMotor.com,easily to gain and stay at da top.Now,they have to face Quakes from group B,quite a threat to other teams as well.If Quakes is able to finish Hurricanes off,it'll be quite a dramatic ending for da Hurricaranas.

PHANTOMS (B) VS ARIONS

Da veteran team,against a much younger team.It's all about which team controls da pace and ball movement.As seen by others,Phantoms' dynamic duo is getting better and better.Yup,just like Batman & Robin or Roadrunner and Coyote,or even Tom & Jerry,they manage to pull off huge wins to ensure their quarter finals appearance during da group stage.

As for Arions,they did struggle a little to make their first well,it is mostly first appearances appearance in da league's quarter final showdown.But unfortunately,Arions' lack of size,leadership and tactical plays.My vote,I think tat it'll be an easy win for Phantoms (B).

WEMOTOR.COM VS SNIPERS

Da 3 Amigos from WeMotor.com,and da Shoot-To-Kill Sniperians from Snipers.I'd say,it's a much balance game.WeMotor.com's finishing touches are prepared by their pin-point-passer,mostly done by MRN.Coming next would be by Izzat Tsunami,and mostly da rest will be done by Fuad "Tayshaun" Prince.

On Snipers' part,it looks like they will be playing all da way wit only 10 players on their roster.Injuries led them to deducting da rest out of this season's game.But still,they are always full of surprises.Wit still on going hustle plays by Mr.Hustla,big high post shots from Mr.Muscle and wicked moves created by team captain,KoBron,it's gonna be fun to watch indeed.
