Sorry people,this post isn't made by Original Flava'.He's out for a while.This is me & only me.It's just a thought tat comes u noe.We Malays are alwez angry when our Nabi is being insulted,our race is being left out or left behind,people talked bad about ur family & frenz.But here i'm gonna show u,a type of person who doesn't care about others.

NCBL's 2nd Week Selected Games Review.

Word Up Flava' fans? Flava' is back again to tell all of ya'll about wat happened on da 2nd week of NCBL games.But as u can see,I cudn't watch da whole league,it's madness staying from 8 am - 8 pm every Sunday.So,here are few games that I cud pull of a lil'.Btw,Flava' is gonna change da looks of da blog lil' by lil'.So,my apologize if ya'll had some trouble reading this site ayte.

50-50 Look-A-Round

J3 (A) vs SCOREKEYS

Well,Flava' manage to stir things a bit.Though as predicted,J3 won against Scorekeys with quite a margin to tell ya'll da truth.1 of da best moves in da game was when Azri a.k.a The Siamang Beast penetrates through 2 or three defenders & manage to put da ball into da hoop with a spectacular move.It's like goes wit da "ooh~" & da "aaah~" along wit it.

K-2 vs J3 (B)

Ya'll thought tat kids will alwez be kids?Well,guess again.J3 (B) which consists of actual school kids manage to pull out a win against da more experience K-2 lead by their main attacker Naz "Penang" & Harman "Captain Skip" there's a reason for da name given wit few of them which i cudn't remember their name.Sorry fellows.But heck,even that win against K-2,doesn't mean tat they are gonna sit down & do nuthin' bout it.We'll be waiting for K-2's next action in da 3rd week.

Upsets For The Week

HURRICANES vs SWOOSH 2

I didn't entirely watch da game,juz a sneak peak through out da evening.But 1 of da moments tat lift me from my 'bangku' was da block shot made by da Hurricanes' player tat sent da ball to da 6th row sitters as if there were rows of chairs & believe me,it was super cool.Swoosh 2 unfortunately lost 2 games in a row already.And Mr.Downtown missed a couple of downtown shots that might have taken them to a 1-win-1-loss situation.But it was proven that Hurricanes was better than da fantastic old-timers along with few youngsters as well.

SNIPERS vs SLASHERS

Call them weak or call them strong,they are still a Shoot-To-Kill team.Snipers were beaten by da surprisingly & impressively Slashers.Ya'll heard tat "u can't fight steel against guns" thing rite?But Slashers prove most of us wrong.They beat Snipers by 46-39 correct me if i'm wrong & tat was a major shocking defeat for da Sniperians.

Unfortunately for da team,Mr.Hustla' didn't preform like how he did against Quakes,& so did The G a guy called Gecko.Both hustler didn't really hustle da play.Mr.KoBron fight til' his breath was out,& Snipers' very own pet Bear wasn't ready i guez.

But frankly speaking,Flava' thought tat Afro Dude from Slashers was da man behind da team's success.Afro Dude didn't perform for 3 quarters,not until he got his momentum & slice up Snipers' inside defence.& Snipers too didn't expect tat they have a 25 feet shooter from downtow though Flava' thought tat they were a lil' lucky.

Da game was tight,& Slashers were trailing 5-6 points and gradually increasing their numbers bit by bit.Snipers' man defence were a lil' bit off tis week,but manage to contain them from taking da lead.Not until they got a free throw and tat was da "dup-dap" moment for da Snipers' players.Zarip a.k.a Bijo tried to pull off a few downtown shots,but were 0-5 from da 3 point line.And after a few seconds later,da buzzer sounds & indicates da losing moment for da whole Snipers team.

Factors for loosing?Well,Flava' would give da chance to ya'll who watched da match to urself.But for Flava',Snipers should have won da match cuz 1 of da players said tat they were giving up hope during da 3rd quarter already.

Game Of The Week

BENCHWARMERS/BW vs MALAYA TITANS

This match make ya'll go oooh~ and aaah~ & shout out loud where da **** is your BOX OUT!!! Just kidding,Flava' doesn't like to swear and curses like Chao a lot in public.

Anyways,da scores were tight during da 1st & 2nd quarter of da game.Both team scored 6 & 6 during da 1st,& 12 to 12 in da second quarter.Both teams were neck to neck,speeding here & there and making shots & misses a lot too plus rebounds.But ended up a total of 18 points each in da 1st half.Now,here's where it all begin.

3rd quarter,somehow BW's D was impressive.They conceded only 13 points & made 14 themselves.Shots from da Amad Brothers were to determine whether they still have what it takes.Gud ball rotations were made and manage to create and opening for BW's shooters.1st shot were made by Shahril a.k.a Rentap cuz he is from Sarawak and drew da points to 25 a piece.Tat play was vital and with da help from BW's big men,their guards were offensively stronger.

Into da 4th,da Titans Mr.Big Shot created several chances for his teammates,bank shots,2 threes and a circus shot made by da Shorty Blue-Gump.BW got da scare out of their pants,they were trailing 39-45.1st three was da chaser as Dowh runs down da high post & dishes out to Syubul a.k.a Mr.Ponggo for da three & hits it.42-45.Back to defence,da Titans gave away another ball possession by simply made an air ball shot.& there comes Malek da Blurry.Fido Dido tries to cut into Titans' lane but cudn't due to their lack of sizes,but dishes out to Blurry Boy.Flava' thought tat Blurry Boy's gonna make da two shot,but instead dribbles a few steps back & hits da three & he made tat "u saw tat" face to the bench & it was so crucial tat da game tied with 45 a piece with 45 seconds remaining.

With a missed shot & a three men trap by BW players towards Titans' Mr.Big Shot,he went up in da air & simply threw da ball as if like "go ball,& score for me" type shot.A missed,a rebound by Atai a.k.a Heavy Foot,a pass to Naim da Dowh,a halt,a dish to Rentap,& a 2 point shot made by him gives BW da lead by 47-45.With 20 seconds remaining,da adrenaline rush was even higher.

Flava' saw Heavy Foot was substituted by Baz a.k.a Harry due to his pale-like-zombie looks.Tight D was da key to win,bad passes were made by Titans & 3-4 times da ball went out of play.10 seconds remaining,BW's possession,& inbound pass by Dowh to Harry,& a fright of da season was made by him cuz he accidently kicked da ball towards da baseline.6 seconds remaining,Titans' ball.Again,gud interception by Lah 1 half of da Amad Brothers leads da ball into Mr.Ponggo's hand.& as da clock runs down,da buzzer sounds & BW put up a huge win over da well known Malaya Titans and put their column into 2 wins in a row.While da Titans have to be saddened with another major upset,& still without a win.

Well Flava' fans.What can we learn from this week's lesson? Original Flava's 2nd Div's 2nd Week Predictions (2)

Ya'll still wit Flava'? Cuz i'm about to stir up some spices for my next prediction on Group B & C of da 2nd Div.Fill urself up ayte.

Group B

UBSA VS ARCHERS

Like most NCBL followers predicted,UBSA is da no.1 contender to climb back up to da 1st Div this season.Besides,Archers were out of arrows last week when they were up against Arions.Arions were like da contenders for da quarter-finals' spot,& now Archers have to meet UBSA,da semi-finalist of KLNC 2K10?Prove me DEADwrong if UBSA losses this match.

BANTURAZ VS QUAKES

It was not really a surprise seeing Quakes went down against Snipers cuz both can go home with da win.But Snipers were more determined due to their vengeful spirit to beat da Quake players.Easy to say,Banturaz & Quakes are now equal due to each had da "L" hanging on their necks.But i noe that Quakes can take home their 1st win of da season,cuz they shake da court to win,& they are properly taken care of.I'd go for Quakes,wat bout ya'll?

ARIONS VS CAGERS

Arions beat da Archers,& Cagers whoop out da Slashers.With a win for each team,who would go for da second this week?Though Cagers are first timers correct me if i'm wrong again in da league,but tat doesn't mean tat first timers are always corrupted take Phoenix for an example.

J3 (B) VS K-2

Though K-2 loss to UBSA last week,but they put up a gud fight to avoid humiliation.& with a win for J3,i'm pretty sure that K-2 can give an ultimate test for the youngsters as well.It's da "Young vs Veteran" match to watch.

SNIPERS VS SLASHERS

Sources from my part said that "do not underestimate Slashers".But they loss to da newly-created team of Cagers last week.This week,they're up against da Shoot-To-Kill team of Snipers.Last week,Mr.KoBron notched a 20 points game against Quakes though he was fouled out.With Mr.Hustla's hustle da name tells u already plays,& da Solid Bear returning to Snipers after finishing his thesis,it looks like Slashers need more than juz swords and machetes to cut down da Snipers team.

Group C

VENOM VS FENRIR

I manage to watch a lil' bit of Venom's game last week,& it doesn't change from KLNC since.But with both team eager to win,only one team who will come out with smiles on their faces.Da other,well,ya'll noe it.

HURRICANES VS SWOOSH 2

They wouldn't call themselves da Hurricanes for no reason.Though Swoosh 2 have a lot of experiences,but they will need more than juz that to upset da Hurricanes.

WEMOTOR.COM VS PRINZE

Sorry to say this Your Majesties,but if ya'll keep playing a one-man game,WEMOTOR.COM is gonna put their fastest engine to leave ya'll behind,pretty bad.& I mean bad.BAD.B-A-D.Alrite2,ya'll get it already.

RUDDERS VS D'FLIPSE

This would be D'Flipse's debut rite?If so,they'd better watch out for the Rudders cuz Rudders' team are not quite bad to put a name for themselves.Juz so ya'll noe,D'Flipse was once known as KPTM,da team which many known as "da battering team",which upper teams always used them as a "training" team.But things might change this season,new names,probably new looks,& new plays?We'll see about it.

Original Flava's 2nd Div's 2nd Week Predictions

A lil' catchy on da title huh?Anyways,Word's up Flava Fanatics?If ya'll read about my prediction on da Div 1 teams already,how bout we move on to da 2nd Div now ayte?

GROUP A

PHANTOMS (B) VS BULLET

A week ago,Phantoms (B) won against JUMP and many witnessed da humiliation made by Phantoms (B) towards Mr.SKN2U's team.But they put up a gud fight & never gave up too.Anyways,Bullet lost to Griffin,who had a season of experiences ahead of Adam Lipas' young guns.But like they say,when there's a bullet,there's always a surprise.

BENCHWARMERS / BW VS MALAYA TITANS

BW won their 1st game of da season by beating da Riders 70-25.A huge margin made by da boys from Seremban compared to last season's average of 48 points per game.Their ball rotation looks smoother,their finishing shots were better,their speed had increase,but as usual,their boards still sucks.Without a proper big guy,they lost too many rebounds & to secure ball possession.This might give away their 2nd win towards da Titans due to da Titans' heights.But,it'll be no surprise if da Titans loose too.Heck,they lost to da Shocks after leading to a 10 points margin.This game will indicate which young team is better,da Titans of UM,or da 1-Win BWs.

GRIFFIN VS JUMP

Well,this is a battle of experiences.JUMP was a team created by streetballerz,but still,fancy that,they manage to pull out loads of da W.But due to da long-years of resting hibernating,it really effects their game plays.Will they literally jump out from da lost column?Or will Griffin put another upset moments for them to remember?I dunno.

NEXT VS J3 (C)

Up against Soulspeed?J3 (C) was a better team,wat comes NEXT?Could be another butt-kicking memories for them,or maybe a triumph against da School Boys.Anyway,i'd be running like chickens if J3 (C) lose against da Riders.

SOULSPEED VS NIRWANA SHOCKS

Every team has a reason why do they put their name on their chest.For Soulspeed,they might wanna prove to others that they might not have da speed,but they have da spirit to win games prove that they've won against da much bigger team of Venom during KLNC tournament even if their opponents were much better than them.& for da Shocks,truly they shocked most people who bets on da Titans to be da 2nd round contenders by beating them.Again,Nirwanas might pull of an easy win against Soulspeed.

So Flava fans,Group A from da 2nd Div is done.I'm entering group B & C.Ya'll jz wait for me ayte,keep tracking me up.

Original Flava's NCBL 2K10 2nd Week Prediction

Word's up people?? The Flava is back for more predictions and thoughts for the 2nd week games of NCBL,yea,ya'll heard me,NCBL.Firstly,i'd like to thank those who sent me their positive words through e-mail,& it was nice of ya'll to support me too.& encouragement by my 2 buddies Mr. KoBron & Dr. Hustla' too.

Anyways,the reason why i'm still doing this is due to no updates by RPK & AfiqPG from pemainbolakeranjang.blogspot cuz they've been busy lately.So,i'm just da substitute,but more fun & entertaining words from the two people above might come in handy.

Flava's gonna talk on my own prediction based on the teams that won their 1st game during da 1st week.Remember,i'm not gud,but i'm still trying.& i didn't watch da whole game,so no scores,no volcanic imagination,juz words.So,here it goes.

DIV 1

SWOOSH 1 VS PHANTOMS (A)

Right,as ya'll noe it already,Swoosh 1 won against da young guns J3 (A) and Phantoms beat Cocoro too.Now,previous meetings since 2005 or 2006 when it all starts here Phantoms barely won against da Mighty Swoosh.These two teams are well known for their rivalries way back before Dinosaurs exist big metaphors huh?.But things might get a lil' dandy due to da changes made by Phantoms,now they've got younger meats & wiser brains.So,will we witness Swoosh's first loss since they were champs?Let your eyes be da witnesses.

PEGASUS VS FLAMES

Last week,Flames suffered their 1st defeat towards relegation against Cons.& this week,they will be meeting da Flying Horsemen from Setiawangsa correct me if i'm wrong & not to mention,last season's runner-ups.Well,i'd say that Pegasus will win.If they can shoot down da Terminators last week,would there be a problem shutting down da Fires?I dun think so,do you?

SCOREKEYS VS J3 (A)

Last week,da Scorpion Monkeys got their butts on fire by da Flaming Birds it's Phoenix juz so ya'll noe pretty bad.But,either way,J3 lost too to Swoosh.So,I might say that this will be da starting point of "battle to survive".

COCORO VS ATM

Cocoro and ATM,not much to say here but da 4th Place winners should have da chance to take da win from da Terminators.I could say that it'll be speed vs strength.

CONS VS PHOENIX

It's their 1st ever meeting,& both had da W on their Win-Loss column last week.Cons is well known for their speed and stubbornness for those who watched da UBSA vs Cons match during KLNC,ya'll noe it on da court,but furthermore,Phoenix is a well develop youngsters and da contender for da semi-finals spot.This will be 1 of those "Clash of the Gargantuans" match to watch.

So,this will be on da Div 1 part,stay tuned to da Div 2 segment ayte.Word Up!

Original Flava's NCBL 2K10 predictions.

Head's up ya'll.this is an article by Original Flava (just another basketball fanatics).

Since there's no prediction made yet by no one (if i'm not mistaken), I would like to send in my NCBL's pre-season prediction for both Div 1 & Div 2 teams.

Div 1 :-
PHOENIX
As we can see,three teams have already made their way to the Div 1 and the teams are Phoenix (last season's Div 2 champion),ATM a.k.a the Universal Soldiers & J3 themselves.For whoever has watched the Flaming Birds' performance in KLNC tournament,they have made quite and impact and impressively,Phoenix lost to the Super Swoosh by only 3 points,how's tat for a team birth in the Div 2.The other Div 1 teams should be well prepared to face these youngsters cuz they are filled wit Primax 95 for their speed & fast break plays plus their ball rotation are superbly converted in every game.

ATM
Since I haven't got any info about ATM,I couldn't really predict their game-season.But as far as I myself had experience playing against them,I think it should not be a problem for them to hang on maybe for a season or two.Besides,Div 1 is always full of surprises.

J3
As far as I heard about J3,these youngsters are dominant as well.But sources informed me that some of the reliable players are out of the game due to their own reasons such as continuing studies,working and yada yada yada.The only one left is Azri a.k.a Double L (Long Limbs),could this be a new beginning for him to prove to the NC community that he can carry on the burden himself?We'll see later on.

SEMI-FINALISTS

The usual 4 that we used to watch in the semis were Phantoms,Cocoro,Pegasus & Swoosh.Well,from the players & teams that are being rebuild and upgraded,i'm sure that there will be changes from the Fantastic 4 spot.Why not?Even Liverpool are out from the top 4 this season,anything's possible.Anyways,the top 4 of my choice would be Phantoms,Swoosh,Phoenix & could be either J3 or Pegasus,it's all based on speed,strength and experiences because Pegasus has waived (the players' will) quite a number of good players like Kei & Aizat,including their former center Panje who is playing for Swoosh this season.But they too acquired Arip a.k.a Katik for Aizat's replacement,not bad eyh?So,it's a fight for J3 & Pegasus for the 4th spot,and ATM might have a small chance to ruin their battle for the 4th spot too.

RELEGATED

If the relegation rules are still on the line this season,then Flames,Cons and Scorekeys better watch out.Rumors flying that Scorekeys lost two of their big men,but there are additions made to cover up the hole.Whereas Cons,their 2nd playmaker (Ma'e,which is I should say a 1st Guard recently due to Ash's knee injury) are going to Phantoms' squad.Really?If that's true,looks like Phantoms are turning into a team of Phenoms instead.More dangerous & more youth.Flames?Well,as you heard,Alex is no longer there,he went flying to other nation to continue his studies (that's what I heard),but Flames still has what it takes to maintain & ensuring a Div 1 for another season,if they reduce the loss column a little more that is.

Div 2 :-

Well,new faces,new teams,new hype!!! This is the era of NC Ballerz growth towards youth development.Yes,some people said that there are more teams to be 'ayam' or 'sayur' with,but what matters most is that we enjoy doing what we love the most and we collect more & more experience from the seasoned ones.

CLIMBING TO DIV 1

UBSA - The team which made into the semi finals of the KLNC tournament,who surprised everyone by beating Phoenix to take the 2nd spot in the grouping stage,and into the semis by beating Cons in a narrow win and manage to retrieve 4th place in KLNC.This was the time when Muaz was add up & Mr.UBSA (Alip) return to his country and help by rebuilt the team again and turned them into a more dominant opponent.Plus,Wan Kid turn out to be a dangerous substitute when he had rest and regain more stamina too.Pops a.k.a Muz was on fire by the baseline and his threes as well.While Pow,Mr.X,Badut & Shamon the Shaman can turn into a more aggressive defender once in a while,and that's a fact.And this NCBL season,the whole NC community will witness (the return?) and put their sights on to Ayie the Hungry Bear after 6 months out due to his knee injury.UBSA even add up Kei from Pegasus and who knows who else will they bring into their team.Looks like teams have to watch out for the perimeter shots and the downtown lines,not to mention the post as well.This is a must-watch team.

MALAYA TITANS

Well,judging by their performances during KLNC tournament,these youngsters are not too bad themselves.They nearly beat Swoosh 3 during the group stage,they were unbeaten for 3 matches (or 4) before their loss to Swoosh 3.Plus,they have the aggressive defence and 56% finishing form inside the semi circle area.Well,they might not advance to Div 1 nex season,but they are somehow interesting and not to be underestimate with.

QUARTER FINALS

UBSA

MALAYA TITANS

PHANTOMS (B) - Well,like I've said,never underestimate any team whether they consist of veteran players or even youthful youngsters.This team might give the rest of the team quite a problem for their shots are hardly foreseen.It's like an assassin waiting to put a bullet behind your head.

J3 (B)/(C) - As all have heard about J3 teams,like their senior team,they would like to make an impact in the league,so,they might lack of experience but they may have the quality to apprehend the other dominant teams.

SWOOSH 2/WEEMOTO.COM - Eventually,Swoosh's team are all favourites to advance through the grouping stages.And FYI,as much as i've been told that veemoto is actually Swoosh 3,but they change their name to bring more flares.

HURRICANES/QUAKES/SNIPERS - The Q spot is always there to be taken by those who deserves it.And to deserve it,they have to earn it.These goes to Hurricanes,Quakes and Snipers.They have the similarities from players to playbooks.Sources said that Snipers had recruit few well known players too to boost (not the Cadbury chocolate) up their performance such as Dinie the Berr and Sadiq from Archers.As for Hurricanes and Quakes,they have made a point during their friendly matches before the NCBL season starts.Who's to take?Just wait and watch.

OTHER TEAMS

GRIFFIN - Could be the same Griffin,but still they poses a threat too.

BENCHWARMERS - Rumors saying that they've added up a Center player to replace Farid a.k.a Orang Tua,could the replacement be a better player?We'll see.

NIRWANA SHOCK - Might SHOCK the whole league by winning the Div 2,who knows?

BULLETS - Adam Lipas' (from Phantoms A) managing team.New school,but might consist old plays.

NEXT RIDER - Formerly known as KJ Riders,could the changing in names bring more momentum for them?

JUMP - Mr.SKN2U a.k.a Saku's team.Players from the old,but still have what it takes to win a few games maybe?Plus,Anip is back in action people! Does he still has the handles to shake & bake,you never know.

SOULSPEED - No info about this team,could be surprises waiting for us.

ARIONS - No info.

SLASHERS - Heard that they are from Seremban consists of players that haven't been crashing courts for quite sometime.Still,experience players do have the advantages.

K-2 - The family which reigns in with Snipers.They still have the moves to take down new comers.

CAGERS - No info.

BANTURAZ - Players from Bandar Tun Razak.This might be interesting.

ARCHERS - A threat for the new comers,they are the team from NCBL 2009 (last season's) which won 3 games (or 4).

VENOM - A team with quality but lack of chemistry?Maybe they need more friendlies to up their players' bond.

FENRIR - No info.

PRINZE - Prinze was from Div 1 (last season's NCBL(2009) ),but was relegated due to their 8 losses and manage to win only 1 game.But could they battle to carry themselve back to the Div 1?

RUDDERS - No info.

D'FLIPSE - Was once known as KPTM.New name,might be new game as well.

TITANS - An experience team too.New comers be ready.

Overall View - Like I said,it's only my prediction during the pre-season of the NCBL 2010.Besides,it hasn't started yet,so things might go way different than what I might expect.So,let's bring on the hype and love to the game,and til' next time,word up!!
