NCBL 2nd Division's Quarter-Final Review.

Word Up Flavours?Before I start making my opinions matter,let's recap a lil' shall we?First,all teams from group B were dominating da 2nd round,Quakes and Arions respectively won their game by beating Nirwana Shocks and Titans.Secondly,UBSA was da favourite and no.1 pick to win da 2nd Divsion title this season.And thirdly,some were expecting that group B representatives are goin' to advance to da semis.

Well,for what's it worth,it could be a fairytale ending for all da group B representatives.But games are not won by writing down notes.It is a lot easier said than done.So,wat's da catch?Let's hit it.

THE BIGGEST UPSET (UBSA VS SWOOSH 2)

Well,as most of ya'll had known,UBSA lost.Not a big margin though,it was a 56-51 game loss for da Shah Alam Ballerz in their match against Swoosh 2.Da game was mostly dominated by Swoosh 2.From da start,til' da very end of da buzzer,UBSA look a lil' loss.

UBSA has a slight disadvantage as their monster,Ayie,was out wit another injury.Technically,da same injury tat he had last year,which is da knee.So,UBSA battle hard enough under da hoop by using Mr.X to da fullest.Unfortunately for them,Swoosh 2 is a team full of veterans,technically speaking ayte.

Swoosh's defence was well coordinated tat they made it look like UBSA couldn't even get da easy 2 point jump shots.Whereas for Swoosh 2's offence,it was so much easier for them.As both Aaron and Mislan showed UBSA how's it done.Aaron stunningly made almost 5-6 3 pointers,a few jumpers within da arc and very well made free throws.As guessed,he would be da Player Of The Game for sure.

UBSA somehow battled with all their might,playing their half-court defence,but it wasn't enough to stop Mislan from penetrating towards da hoop.Or even dished out for their bigs like Amarjit,or Old Man Farid.

Well,da game goes on juz like how it was described in da above lines,and from a 13 points lead tat Swoosh 2 had,UBSA manage to cut down to 5 points,but ended up loosing.A heart breaker,a slap in da face and it was all not enough even though UBSA had all players tat is suitable for da team itself.

So,1 down for group B representatives,3 more to go.With Swoosh 2,a group C representative,advanced to da semis.

THE SECOND CRUMBLE (QUAKES VS HURRICANES)

Da Great Walls of Group B's dominance falls apart more and more as another group B's representative falls down to both knees as Quakes were beaten badly by da Hurricanes.I dunno,da margin was like,a near 30 points I guess.

To see it physically,Hurricanes was all bones and flesh,I mean,literally.Even their big guys were all skin and bones.Compared to Quakes,they had more flesh,bulk and built shapes.But it was all about chemistry and making shots.Da game wasn't about speed and strength.

Hurricanes' lightweight made them cruised past Quakes easy as they grabbed more rebounds and made more second chance points.Their defence wasn't tat gud as Quakes manage to play da cat-and-mouse-chasing game in a moment.

At a point,where they were neck-to-neck,chasing a single point every time.But Hurricanes showed them tat they were better.Even Quakes' Munex da Mean Machine couldn't do anything about it.Couldn't quite see da final score,but I noe it was bad though.

"No matter how da wind howls,da mountain would not bow to it."Well,clearly Hurricanes made tat statement wrong for gud.Another group B elite falls,2 down,2 more to go.

AND THE COOKIE KEEPS ON CRUMBLING (ARIONS VS PHANTOMS (B))

Da young against da old more experience match.To be honest,da game was only excited to be observe during da first quarter as Arions and Phantoms (B) fought hard against each other as da first quarter ended up at 8 points each or was it da Quakes vs Hurricanes match?.

But coming up da second quarter,and until da fourth,it was all dull,and all expected as Phantoms (B) pummeling through Arions to book their spot in da semis.Even with da 3 Rainers,T-He and Raimi in da team,they could not stop da veteranians for gud.

And tat's how da cookie crumbles,3 down,and juz 1 more left as a group B representative anxiously waiting for da next match to commence.

SNIPING DOWN THE ENGINES (SNIPERS VS WEMOTOR.COM)

Load up your ammos,pick your target right,aim,& SNIPE!!! Finally,out of da 4 representatives in group B,1 manage to pull out a win.And it wasn't an easy win too.

Facing their hard task this week,Snipers are up against WeMotor.com,where MRN,da Tsunami,Fuad Prince and Syed Bontot as what others recall him,i'm juz rephrasing is their top players.As for da Sniperians,they are sticking wit their remaining 10 players,wit some injured,but still effective.

Lemme juz conclude da whole game ayte,da game was a close game.WeMotor.com was chasing points as da Shoot-To-Kill team took da lead by ending da first quarter 13-11.Gaining da momentum,Snipers took da whole game by leading every quarter and ended up winning by almost 13 points.Something impossible?Not really.

Snipers were prepared a month before da game.Even in da puasa month,they took their training session at nite hours,and eventually brushing up everything they could.And it was all proven worthy.Their defence was superb as WeMotor.com couldn't finish their shots,and Snipers' offence was better than before.Well coordinated,and with more playbooks too.

There's only one major problem.Snipers let their opponents get an easy second chance points as they couldn't grab more rebounds than WeMotor.com.But still,as a team named by an elite group of rifle men,they manage to pour down more threes than usual which is an exciting moment to watch.

Anyways,da final match of da day ended up Snipers,da only team in group B,advanced to da semis.Making their own team history,after years of participating in NC games,and finally,heading towards da 2nd Division's Finals.

So NC fans,da quarters are all settle and done.Now both divisions,one and two are in da semi-finals mode.So,we're gonna have more excitement than before,so get yerself something to chew and drink,as da semis will start this coming weekend.Til' then,stay AWE~SO~ME!!!

NCBL 2nd Division's Quarter Final Preview.

Word Up peepz? Flava's back for the preview of this week's NCBL,2nd Div Quarter finals.For a month,all players were at rest,feeding themselves wit Raya food,& as guessed,fattening up all da flab on da tummylesser trainings.So,wit 4 matches available this week,let us get on to it.

UBSA VS SWOOSH 2

UBSA,line-ups are full wit Goliaths.Grizzly Bear,Alip,Mr.X,PowGasol,Sha-Monstar,Circusalso known as Badut and Kei.Not to mention their rebuilt-guards consist of Epyn,Panda,Muaz and Botak.Wit additional players and their mastermind unpredictable man,AfiqPG,no wonder they are da contender to climb back to da 1st division.

Standing in their way is 1 half of da Swoosh family,Swoosh 2.Wit Mislan and Edmund to be their ball handler,blind passes will surely be made perfectly if their top duo Giant Armajit and Farid Old Man maintain da way how they played during da beatdown of da Benchwarmers.Besides,they still have Mr.Downtown,if he is still playing with them.

Da match should be interesting as pace & speed is more towards da Shah Alam Ballerz indeed,as they are much a younger team than da more experience Supermen.My vote,will be on UBSA.

QUAKES VS HURRICANES

Quakes battered down da rookie team,Nirwana Shocks during their 2nd round match about a month ago.Though da Shocks gain height advantage,but it was truly experience says it all.Fierce play by Munex lead da team to da quarter finals indeed and set up a meeting wit da well-said unbeatable Hurricanes.

Hurricanes was unbeaten during da group stage.Beating da favourite team in Group C,WeMotor.com,easily to gain and stay at da top.Now,they have to face Quakes from group B,quite a threat to other teams as well.If Quakes is able to finish Hurricanes off,it'll be quite a dramatic ending for da Hurricaranas.

PHANTOMS (B) VS ARIONS

Da veteran team,against a much younger team.It's all about which team controls da pace and ball movement.As seen by others,Phantoms' dynamic duo is getting better and better.Yup,just like Batman & Robin or Roadrunner and Coyote,or even Tom & Jerry,they manage to pull off huge wins to ensure their quarter finals appearance during da group stage.

As for Arions,they did struggle a little to make their first well,it is mostly first appearances appearance in da league's quarter final showdown.But unfortunately,Arions' lack of size,leadership and tactical plays.My vote,I think tat it'll be an easy win for Phantoms (B).

WEMOTOR.COM VS SNIPERS

Da 3 Amigos from WeMotor.com,and da Shoot-To-Kill Sniperians from Snipers.I'd say,it's a much balance game.WeMotor.com's finishing touches are prepared by their pin-point-passer,mostly done by MRN.Coming next would be by Izzat Tsunami,and mostly da rest will be done by Fuad "Tayshaun" Prince.

On Snipers' part,it looks like they will be playing all da way wit only 10 players on their roster.Injuries led them to deducting da rest out of this season's game.But still,they are always full of surprises.Wit still on going hustle plays by Mr.Hustla,big high post shots from Mr.Muscle and wicked moves created by team captain,KoBron,it's gonna be fun to watch indeed.

Finally,NCBL's 2nd Round Review Is Revealed.

Word Up Flava's truly?Yerp,Flava's NCBL review is back on track.Been missing a while,got sumthings to do,so let's just get it on wit it ayte.Da 2nd round gives us 4 matches tat is a must-watch in order for da quarter-finalists to advance through if they wish to do so to da Finals.So,here are da game reviews of da 4 matches available.

SWOOSH 2 VS BENCHWARMERS / BW

It's da young,against da veteran team well,most of them,da most experience and da 2-years-amateurs,da strength and da speed,da Younger Supermen against da Bws.

It's da repeat of wat most of us had witnessed from last season where da two teams had already met wit each other.& last season,they were neck to neck til' da very last second.But ended up,Swoosh 2 took da win by 9 points ahead of da younger counterparts.

Impressively,BW matures a lot this season,better basketball,better stamina,better plays,& most of all,better defence.Under da supervision of Phantoms' very own Imran Bakri or well known as da Jumper,BW looks to punish Swoosh 2 very much this round.But at da start of da match,they were trailing da old-timers by 11-2.Da 1st quarter dun look gud for them though.But tat truly didn't stop them at all.

Da start of 2nd quarter,BW jumps back into da game.Wit more furiousness,pace and speed,tat forces Swoosh 2 to do several turnovers too.Unbelievable ain't it?They manage to chase points and closing down within 6 points.But Swoosh's very own Farid whom they called Orang Tua or Old Man,and BW's ex-Center during KLNC,were at his top performance,giving his best moves by spinning,do fake shots and block shots too.

Da much interesting part was during da 3rd,where BW pull da points within 2,by using their secret defence,da Full Court Press.And they did it.They manage to force Swoosh 2 to make terrible passes,they even attempt several steals by Mislan himself.But da gap didn't last long as yet again,Old Man Farid put their patience to their test,and BW made silly fumbles and by da end of da 3rd,da gap was back at 10 points.

BW didn't back down however as they manage to cover up their silly mistakes during da fourth,but due to Old Man's tremendous double-double figures as wat Mr.Rpk mentioned from his blog from da previous three quarters,BW couldn't manage to keep up da trail,and loosing again to Swoosh 2 by 7 points this season.And as da buzzer sounds,da end is there in da 2nd round for da BWs.

ARIONS VS TITANS

Well,to be honest,it's just a matter of which team from which group is better.Arions,representing group B,and da Titans,representing group C.Easy saying is tat,Titans didn't play well witout their savior Ayie not da big bear Ayie and ended up loosing to Arions.

Arions played better than da Titans as da Titans played like every ball possession they had is down to da last 5 seconds.Get da point?No?Alrite2,they played fast-break pace all da time.Whereas Arions played more rotation and more 3 point jumpers too.

NIRWANA VS QUAKES

Rookies will always be rookies.At least,tat's wat da veterans said so.& indeed,they were rite.Da Shocks was juz a figure-team to being so called "frightening".They have da advantages,yerp,wit da heights,da speed,da ball handlers,but they juz dun ave da brains.

So yea,Nirwana has tis 6 footer kid,and heck yea,he was gud in rebounding and block shots too.Never have I witness someone can make a near double-double by gaining numbers in rebounding and block shots.Tat kid took 10 boards and 9 blocks.But in terms of points,well,he sux anyways didn't do pretty well.

Though da Shocks was a young team,but tat doesn't mean tat they can't play.They can,but lack of leadership and tactics.As they were facing Quakes,they did put up a fight.Quakes mostly loss in terms of rebounding,lack of height I guess.But Quakes' defence were excellent.Steal by steals,and converted shots were made tat lead them to score da W and put them into da quarterfinals.

Quakes,led by their Scoring Machine Munex,was impressive somehow.It looks as though they made like 80% of their shots.Converted shots.Not those airballs or missed shots.Anyhow,another representative from Group B advances into da quarters.

J3 (C) VS WEMOTOR.COM

Again,it looks like a fight between da rookies and da pros.Well,to make it short and simple,J3 (C) is very well known for their rough plays.Literally.Elbowing,pulling opponent's jersey,stepping on their shoes,blocking opponent's knee,but hey,tat's basketball.It's a sport,not a cooking show.

But unfortunately for da younger Bangi Boyz,they met wit a team tat is well known on how to play dirty too.Especially Izzat "Da Freestylist" Tsunami.Yea,I witnessed maself,when da kids tried to play dirty,Mr.Freestylist can do it double,and serves them rite.

Anyways,as most had predict way before da 2nd round started,WeMotor.com will obviously grab da win.And not juz tat,Mr.Freestylist's elder brother,MRN,did a spectacular show for da crowd.By breaking ankles.Tat moment proves tat NCBL is juz not a minor league,it's a basketball league understand?.

Court-less?

Word Up Flava's truly?Remember tat 2 or 3 months back I got me a summon ordering me to court?Heck,things were a lil' easier but stupider to me.Da story goes like this.

I woke up early at 7.30 am considering da time is early for I used to wake up at da usual 11 am or 12 pm during my free days,getting ready,all dressed up for da court session.By 8 i'm on my way there.Well,view da picture above to know where will I be in da next hour.

After all da hustling & bustling through da highway freeway,low way,midway,anyway,I started to realize tat i've been to this wicked place more than once.Da route is where I used to come over or send my lil' sis Phacat back when she used to stay over in Duta area.Anyways,once I arrived there,as usual,search for a parking lot is always a priority.

I got there & was amazed by da surroundings.Not juz tat da parking lot has a lot of "pak guards" there,but they ave additional extra members too.Wild dogs.Lazying around like there's no other business to do.Anyways,I lead myself to da main door of da complex.

Once i'm in,again,I was amazed.I thought to myself,"so this is how lawyers look like".Noe why?It's like they're attending funerals instead of court sessions.They were all wearing black minus some who are literally black from head to toe.Da inside of da building was beautiful no doubt about it.But still,too much lights.Now I guez I noe where do all our electricity bills cash went to.

After a while,I asked on how to go to my court room.Well,da first mak guard gave me da direction.So I went for it.Almost circling around da building,I still couldn't find da court room.So I asked da first office,they mentioned it is at da back.Ok,after walking a while,still no sign of it.Then I asked da 2nd pak guard,he too said it's juz "there" by pointing at da unknown direction.

My mud wasn't so gud,& my temper had rise bit by bit.I'm not sure myself whether I'm excited to see da court room itself or angry with all da walking I made.I mean,first timers rite?I was like,"Does da court room look like those in da movies?" or sumthin' like it.Anyways,after almost a 20 minutes walk,I made it to da court room entrance juz in time.9 am sharp as on my watch.

I registered myself,and a sword juz stabbed my head juz like tat when da lady officer mentioned to me tat my summon hasn't been key in yet.Heart broken?A lil',as I couldn't get into da court room and witness da environment wit my two lil' eyes myself.But da lady officer told me tat it's better for me to go to da "Balai" rather than entering da court itself.

"Are you plain stupid?" Tat's wat I wanted to say at first,but not literally,it's juz a thought.So I asked why.Then she said tat if I go on wit da procedure,da minimum fine I'll receive would be RM1000.Yea,u got tat rite.1k,no kidding.If I proceed to da "Balai" I would juz receive a maximum fine of 300 bucks.Tat's a lil' relief to hear,but still,goin' to da Duta Court Complex and have to head back towards da "Balai" is a different path.& further distance for sure.

So there I go,& again,I realized tat da "Balai" was juz nearby da area of MABA home of da KL Dragons and Petaling Street da heck is wrong wit da officers these days.Anyways,nuthin' interesting there.I went in,check myself in,registered my summon ticket,line up for da payment,& finally settled.

Da point is tis,has our officers loss their mind and work ethics?They need cash for sure,as our government are begging for da people's money regardless tax or summon or anything as they couldn't even sum up their finance to pay their own bonuses.But still,da system are all on a downfall.More quantity,but lack of quality.

I'm here stating tat our officers are mostly corrupted.They couldn't even solve a simple crime case.Not like those officers in London.Why would I say this,do read this article in da link I've given here http://www.facebook.com/Cicak#!/note.php?note_id=432073840741&id=586500176&ref=mf and ask yourself,"Are we safe enough to live wit officers like these?"Til' then,Stay Awesome!! Legging vs Boxers.

Yes Flava' fans,i'm back.A month of disappearance,& finally I got sum time off this week.& i'm gonna enjoy tis.Ayte,before we go further,I'd like to ask ya'll,who likes legging?No,not legs,legging.U noe,those type-like-tights tat gals are wearing.And who loves boxers?No,not those pro athletes,but shorts-type-underwear tat guys wear during in bed.

Da feeds are like this,nowadays,da legging trends are back.Like they said,"it's da 70's".Yea rite,mind ya'll tat we're now in 2010,& in a few months,we're heading towards 2011 already.New style,new era.Anyways,my point is this.Ya' see,gals love to show their arses out in da public.But whenever they see boys in their boxers in a particular area say erm,college,they'll like,"dude,dun u ave any pants to wear?",da heck?

Pretty much of a saying ain't it?Here's wat I thought for wat's it worth.

Ladies in legging :-

1) Ya'll are like wearing panties in da public.

2) If ya'll got gud body shapes or hot legs,fine by me if ya'll got da shape of an oak tree,better check again.

3) Is legging to cheap to buy?Or ladies' wear nowadays are too expensive for ya'?

4) FYI boyz who let their girls wear these legging stuff,dun be an idiot.Ur like selling a whore on da street letting other people starring at ur gal.Ur not gonna be Tom Cruise by juz letting other people stare at ur gal's butt.

Well,I dun ave much thoughts on guys in boxers,cuz most of them only wear it during da sleeping hours,or juz by staying at home.But for once,I did see boyz using boxers and go out to da football field and go-soccer.Same ideas to ya'll,dun be an idiot.U wanna let ur ding-dong be free for some fresh air?Do sumthin' else like soak ur stick in ice.

Well,i'm not sayin' tat i'm right,& definitely those who wears legging or boxers for public outings are wrong.I mean,c'mon,we're not Euros,or Americans,da nations are different ayte.Get da point?It's juz from my perspective,no offence anyways.

I'm not saying tat wearing leggings or boxers are wrong,I mean,sum pro athletes wore them in games.Like Wade and AI.They wore tights or leggings sum of u idiots might recall during their matches most of the time.And like KG,he once wore a boxer during his spell at Timberwolves.

Final words,nuthin' big.It ain't a big deal,but juz keep in thought.For ya'll ladies,dun hate da guys who wears boxers out in da public,& vise versa to ya'll fellas,dun hate da gals who wears legging out in da public too.Cuz to me,all of u are equally certified as "supernoobs".End of saying,Word Up!!!
